I am a literature scholar working at the intersection of cultural history and performance studies. My work explores how stories, from Shakespeare to global narratives, reflect their cultural moment and move across borders. My research spans early modern drama, world literature, avant-garde history, and new AI-inspired methods for studying texts. At Clemson University, I teach courses examining the connections between literature and storytelling, and how they shape culture and politics. My academic background includes graduate training in comparative literature and Renaissance studies at Yale University and the University of Warwick.
